Carmustine is also reported to inhibit glutathione reductase, thioredoxin reductase, and lipoamide dehydrogenase. Carmustine has been tested in clinical trials as a cytostatic agent for Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, myeloma, malignant melanoma, glioblastoma, and other brain tumors.
